Due to poorly done job, I had to get a haircut done elsewhere to correct my fade. I was left with a line going through my fade as well as a choppy job done around my ear. The barber was moving extremely fast like they had something better to do and was absolutely careless.

I get the most simple haircut. 3 all over. How can you mess that up? Guess what. They messed it up 3 times in a row. THREE inches ALL OVER. Guys I'm as lazy as it gets and even I'm forced to go off base. Its that bad here don't learn the hard way like I did

Since the Barber Shop by the by the Southside Gym doesn't have a presence on Google Maps, but belongs to what seems the same establishment, I am leaving this review here:
Very frosty reaction to walking into the shop, so that's already bad. Had to wait about 10min for a haircut, since several other people were being serviced, but that is normal. However, the lady cutting my could not have made it more apparent that she does not want to be there. Asks me in a snippy tone what I want and tells me I have to slouch down in the chair, because I am too tall, which made it uncomfortable to sit. She obviously tries to cut as quickly as she can to be done with it and drops a lot of my hair right in my face. Normally, it would at least have been properly brushed off, but not here. Lastly, she does not ask if I would like to have my eyebrows cut (which I definitely do not) and just proceeds to cut them quickly with the electric razor. Then, again without asking, she puts gel in my hair, which was also not desired.
When it was time to pay, she simply prints the bill and puts it on the counter, expecting that I would write down the amount I would tip. I have rarely received such bizarre service. Definitely do not recommend.

There’s one or two decent barbers, but if you don’t get them you’re likely to end up with a train wreck on your head. Half of them are rude too. My recommendation: Go off base

Homie with the goatee walked out the bathroom without washing his hands straight into cutting someone's hair. No sanitizer or anything. Pretty gross.

I can't really speak to how well they cut hair because I left after sitting there for an hour waiting for my turn when I was there with a few other people first thing in the morning. They only had one person cutting hair. After she finished with two people I think she took a break and I never saw her again. After 30 minutes passed of no one cutting hair, I left because it's ridiculous you only have one person cutting hair, a line of 12 people and growing, and people taking 30+ minute breaks. Do not waste your time here.

I asked for a low fade and received a high tampered fade. I already knew the cut was wrong with the first touch of the clippers. As the employee made their starting line there was going to be no way to fix it already being too high for the fade. The employee seemed like they did not understand what I meant even though I said JUST AROUND THE EARS and LOW FADE. He asked is skin fade, and I said yes. But I think the confusion was the location of the skin fade. Someone needs to relearn what haircut styles are. This is not worth the 20 bucks.
